"Neurodivergent adolescents and young adults often struggle to develop the life skills that are critical to meeting their goals and achieving independence. The SkillJumper app will help fill that gap by targeting the development of essential life skills using evidence-based strategies."

Test the Prototype

Join Us in Creating the Future of SkillJumper!

We have designed a fun, personalised mobile device prototype to test the concept of SkillJumper. The prototype is a mix of a game and a real-world learning tool. The objective of this prototype is to encourage users to learn how to complete daily life tasks and practice them in real life.

Our prototype game focuses on the following quests:

   ● Getting Ready for Tomorrow

   ● Preparing a Snack

   ● Helping Out in the House

   ● Getting Organised

…with fun challenges or ‘skilljumps’ in each one!

We are looking for:

  • Users between the ages of 12 and 25
  • Users who think they might be or have been diagnosed as neurodivergent (Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, etc.)
  • Users willing to play 10-15 minutes per day for 1-2 weeks
  • Users will need access to a phone and internet

Meet our Founder(s)

“Hi, I’m Rikin Khamar, the founder of SkillJumper. The idea for SkillJumper was sparked by my youngest daughter, whose idea for a game that also helped her in her daily life, resonated with me deeply because it struck to the heart of my concern for her future and her struggles day to day. That idea set me on a journey—one that has led me to devote myself to creating something meaningful in my worklife for her and others like her.”

– Rikin Khamar

Rikin has a background in business development and strategy leadership at companies like Amazon, TikTok, Hewlett-Packard, Capgemini, and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Rikin is advised by an advisory board who have deeply worked with neurodivergent young people in their personal or professional lives. More details to follow as the core team is confirmed.
